dont get me wrong, I love Dana White and I support anything he does, but I am only noting that some things are ok and others are not and it has only got to do with green bills and image in the end. I am not a fan of it but i understand that its the way it works and sometimes you have to accept it even if it sucks lol.

I agree. Was a very solid event, despite some antics.



I thought it was hilarious that the left hook didn't even phase Kos. Kos gave a look like, "Oh, did you just hit me?"



I like Kimbo, but he has too many weaknesses. Everyone knows to immediately attack the knee and profit will soon follow. He might want to try boxing.

And for those who are complaining about Kos faking. It's part of the game and the stakes are high. If you don't want to be penalized, don't throw the illegal knee. There would have been nothing to fake. Sure, it may be a bitch move, but don't pretend Kos instigated it.

Semtex was wrong in what he did, but how many times is kosh gonna get away with faking these knees to the head...missed by mile.

As for being oiled up...sure if kosh smelt it the ref would and the outside the cage official would have felt it.

Shogun won quick maaaaaaan...smashed lyoto who after watching it 3 times looked out of breath after 3 mins.

And GSP and Koscheck are great personalities, I expect allot of people will like koscheck after the show because he will be respectfull and nice to GSP, because GSP is nice to everybody (even when he isn't impressed with your performance )

Damn...my worst picking EVER (3-8).

I really thought Machida would have made the subtle adjustments needed to win. Shogun had a great gameplan, but I'm not so sure about ushering in the "Shogun era" too soon. I see a few guys beating him at 205 and I don't think he'll have the belt as long as Machida did.

I bought into the hype by picking Lawlor, but it was nice to see a salty veteran like Doerkson get a win that actually matters.

I really thought Cote had Belcher's number, but Belcher looked really good. That was nowhere near a head spike, by the way.

And then there's Kimbo. I've never thought anything of this guy as a mixed martial artist, but I thought surely he could beat a 1-0 Matt Mitrione. He's been training MMA for a few years now and it's pretty clear that he's never going to develop the skills or cardio to do anything in the sport. Even his hands are lousy, which is supposed to be his strong weapon. I would love to see figures on what he gets paid on his next contract vs. what EliteXC paid him a few years back.
