And the polls go on and on
This time it is the welterweight class, a class where the title will be on the line in UFC 111. So it makes it even nicer to do I guess.
Let us know why you picked your favourite fighter(s) in a reply as usual and also look at the other polls if you have not voted there yet. You can find them here, here and here

GSP - Got it all. Always entertaining and truely on top of his game. Classy, and driving mainstream acceptance of the sport.
Dan Hardy - Very exciting prospect, for sure. Hope he wins the next fight, but not sure if he's able right now. Think he's going to be top 5 for a long time though. Comes across really well in the Primetime interviews and stuff also.
Matt Serra - Great character and so easy to like, been a fan ever since he was on TUF as a contestant. So knowledgeable and so eager to share that knowledge. Would love to go train at Serra's place.

Dan hardy...dudes jokes and can fight
semtex...just cos he is uk dude and has one hell of a punch..even though he killed cage rages live shows with the c word live on prime time t v via sky sports.
Paulio Thiago ... dangerous man.
I like GSP as a fighter and acknowledge his greatness but after grease gate and the amount of cheese wafting off him i want him sparked out.

Picked 3 fighters this time...
1. Nick Diaz: It's hard not to enjoy him while he is in (or out) the cage/ring.
2. Paulo Thiago: Exciting, tough and literally looks very much like me in the face.
3. Marius Zaromskis: Reminds me of Cro Cop, very exciting style. He could go a long way in my opinion if he fine tuned his technique and game planning a bit more.

1. Matt Serra - Us scrappy, brash, Italians gotta stick together
2. Anthony Johnson - Love me some Rumble, and he should be fighting for the title, got robbed in the Koscheck fight.
3t. Dustin Hazelett - How can you not root for McLovin? Dude is the quintessential dorky underdog, who's incredibly exciting. There's no one like him on the ground at 170.
3t. Marius Zaromskis - WAR WHITEMARE! Again, no one like him at WW. Dissapointed in his showing against Diaz, but it was his first American fight, I believe, so I hope to see more of him.
_________________ 145 - Joachim, Mike Brown, Joe Warren, Leonard Garcia, Aldo 155 - KenFlo, Joe Lauzon, Anyone fighting Aoki, Guida 170 - Rumble, Whitemare, Anyone fighting the Diaz Brothers, T-Wood, Hornbuckle 185 - Chael Sonnen (R-Oregon), Hendo, Quarry, Lombard, Marquardt, Lawlor 205 - Hamill, Captain America, Ace Franklin, Bones, King Mo 265 - Grim Rogers, Mir, Anyone fighting Brock, Big Country, Struve

My first post on the boards, so I figured I'd start with a topic that I could talk about for hours.
The welterweight division of the UFC is the most stacked division in the world. 9 of the top 10 fighters in that weightclass are all there, and there are plenty of guys sitting right underneath waiting to bang their way in.
#1 My favorite fighter in the world is Matt Serra. I became a fan during TUF 4 and haven't looked back. I'm such a big Matt Serra fan that I chose NOT to watch his first fight with GSP until after I read the results simply because I didn't want to see my favorite fighter get destroyed. Unfortunately, I tuned in for the rematch.
#2 Martin Kampmann is so much fun to watch. The first fight I saw from him was his destruction of Thales Leites back at 185. I'm still looking forward to his fight with Swick despite the Paul Daley setback.
#3 Ben Saunders is a sleeper for breakout fighter of 2010. I proudly predicted that he would be the first man to KO Marcus Davis. I'm very much looking forward to his upcoming bout with Ellenberger, who lands in my honorable mention category.
I'd also like to address the top guys in the division: Georges St. Pierre - I'll gladly concede that he is the best fighter at his weight class. His wrestling is superior to most fighters (at any weight class) and he does a great job of choosing where he wants the fights to go. That being said, with the majority of contenders in the welterweight division being better strikers, GSP tends to impose his will on the ground, which is less enjoyable to watch. I'll take nothing away from the guy because he is a master of his game, but his fighting style doesn't interest me enough to call him a favorite.
Jon Fitch - He is George St. Pierre without the striking prowess. His skills on the ground should see him make his way into some TKO or submission victories. He hasn't pulled out a stoppage victory in nearly 3 years.
Thiago Alves - Love this guy. He would make my honorable mention, but unfortunately, I only picked 3 fighters.
Josh Koscheck - What a complete and total dick of a human being! From his attitude during TUF, to his bullshit protest after getting finished by Paulo Thiago, I can't stand him as a man. However, I do respect the guy for wanting to fight as often as possible. It speaks a lot about his determination to be great.
Nick Diaz also makes my list in the honorable mention section. He is entertaining from the first minute until whatever minute he decides to end the fight. His striking is so bizarre yet effective and he has such incredible loyalty to his family and friends. I'll watch him fight any day.
