You may be found in a situation where you want to upload a torrent you already downloaded, but you just can’t…Search no more, for you have found it!Let's go...

Configure your client
First of all you need to configure some setting of your client, in order to do this right. What you have to do is disable the auto-start feature most clients have.To do this, go to “Settings”-->”Downloads” and check the box “Non automatic start of the download”*

Download the .torrent file
You need to download the .torrent file, in order to be able to seed it.

Add the .torrent file to your client
Drag and drop the .torrent file in your client or Right-Click on the file and Open with "Your_Client"

Set download location
The torrent should probably be at 0% and static (neither upload nor download).Right-Click on the torrent and select “Advanced”.Click the “Set Download Location” option. After this you have to choose the directory where the torrent is (or set the file downloaded, if that’s the case)

Force Re-Check
As you may notice, although we have already set the download location, the torrent is still static. What we should do is a Re-Check.To do this, Right-Click on the torrent and select “Force Re-Check”

Checking…
After the Re-Check, you will see that the torrent progress bar starts…progressing! The client is checking if the torrent file(s) are the same as the .torrent file.It will eventually reach 100%.If the torrent starts downloading, then you’ve got something wrong.**

Congratulations!!!
You managed to seed a torrent you already downloaded…

*:If you can’t configure the settings or if you’re using another client and you can’t disable the “auto-start” feature, you have to paste the torrent directory or the torrent file to the download directory of your client (where tour torrent downloads go). After this, add the torrent to your client and it will automatically start seeding, after the check.

**:As the torrent is Re-Checking, it may download after it has reached 98% or so.Don’t panic! The torrent probably needs some other files in order to be complete. All you have to do is wait to download this small percentage, and you’ll be ready.

I really hope you find this useful...
Cheers!

thx ATJ for guide
