Background

Watch California's finest battle it out in the cage at the beautiful Humphreys by The Bay!

Erick Sánchez will make his long-awaited Cage Warriors debut when he takes on James Lynch.

Cage Warriors returns to San Diego for another exciting night of fights. One of the bouts to keep your eye on features Elijah Harris against Trey Williams at light heavyweight. Harris picked up a submission win in CWFC in his last fight to bounce back following his first career defeat. As for Williams, he’s lost two of his last three bouts entering this fight. Interestingly enough, both men have recently lost to Chuck Campbell. The oddsmakers pegged Harris as a big favorite to win this fight, but it’s likely a closer fight than the betting odds indicate.

Also on the card is a lightweight bout between Jamey Lynch (no relation to MMA journalist James Lynch) and Erick Sanchez. Lynch has fought four times in Cage Warriors and overall he holds a 3-1 record in the promotion, including a TKO win in his last fight for the organization. As for Sanchez, he is coming off a win in his last fight, and he has a ton of experience as a pro including fights for organizations such as Bellator. Lynch opened up as the favorite here which is fair considering his recent form, but Sanchez’s experience could come into play in this fight, so you shouldn’t count him out of winning this fight either.
