Background

Landry "The Lone Star Kid" Ward is currently unbeaten in four professional and two amateur fights, and on Friday he'll put his perfect record on the line against Dumar "Corazon de Leon" Roa, a 26-fight MMA veteran.

The main Combate Global card will also feature Luis Gomez vs. Michael Garcia and Diana Mendoza vs. Stephanie Irurzo. Gomez should be a familiar name to die-hard fight fans after he competed in Dana White's Contender Series in 2017 (losing to Dan Ige) and for knocking out current UFC fighter Sodiq Yusuff.
