Hey, any help much appreciated.

When i first started using the site, everything worked perfectly, was downloading onto my phone, and everything was reseeding fine. Then, eventually everything stopped seeding. Went unnoticed by me until my ratio went to trash.

I can't for the life of me get anything to seed on my phone, so I've abandoned that for now, and decided, I'll do it on my mac.

But, nothing is reseeding there either.

Im running utorrent 1.8.7 on mac 10.13.6. I have PIA as well.

Files while downloading, show that they are seeding, but nothing is added to uploaded. Then once complete, they never seed. I'm currently only choosing freeleech packs with many leechers, in trying to fix the issue.

If anyone can help me troubleshoot this I'd be very appreciative.

Adding new freeleech files doesn't solve anything.

Maybe you need to open ports in your router, or your ISP is trying to filter the traffic or something else is limiting your upload. It's very hard to say when you are not on same connection. Maybe try from a friends house with different internet provider and see if it helps. You can try a VPN and if nothing else works get a seedbox and build your ratio for a few months on that.

Im not sure if its the ISP, or a ports issue. I looked into that(ports), but its beyond my understanding.

I have managed to get one file seeding. I downloaded it, then followed a method to reseed it somewhere on the forum. I was successful with that one, but unsuccessful every time i tried to replicate it with other files. Also, it only seeds when PIA is off. When its on, it stops seeding.

So i feel like things must be setup in someway to seed, if i have one file doing it. I just cant seem to replicate it. Would be nice to just download and not have to worry about it though.

You should not have to re-check after a normal download, the torrent should start seeding automatically. What torrent client are you using? For Mac try Transmission!

I was using utorrent. Have now downloaded transmission and added the files, and still no uploads.

It might be something with your connection then. You could try from a another location if possible, preferably with a different ISP. Or maybe try a VPN service.
