I have followed the protocol for uploading a new torrent from the video tutorial provided and everything works fine except it just isnt actually seeding?
by the link i copy and pasted (think its called a passkey) on the utorrent app it says on one that it is working and on the other it says invalid passkey. DHT, local peer discovery and peer exchange all say not allowed although on settings i have them set so they should be allowed.
Any help would be appreciated thanks

If you click download on the torrent you have uploaded and open the torrent file with your utorrent client it should add the trackers, or at least ask "Do you want to add the trackers" and you click yes/ok.

Does this start the seeding for you?

I did do this but unfortunately still no joy with it.

Ok lets try this:

1. Create the torrent and make the upload as instructed in the video.

2. When you have done so look in utorrent, select a previously downloaded torrent from mma-torrents in your torrent list

3. Look on on the trackers tab in utorrent (on the previously downloaded torrent)



4. Rightclick on the URL and choose "Add trackers", a windows should open with a box with an URL in it.

5. Copy the URL in the trackers box and close that window.

6. Select the torrent in utorrent that you created and uploaded in step 1.

7. Look on on the trackers tab

8. Rightclick on the URL and choose "Add trackers", a windows should open with a box with an URL in it.

9. Paste in the URL you copied earlier and click OK to close the window.

10. You should now be seeding the torrent you uploaded.

Thanks for the help, i just did all that and it is still not actually connecting to anyone! Very frustrating as I would love to give back to the site some orignal content

If its not connecting you need to check your router/firewall or other things that can interfere with the connection. Sometimes waiting a little works.
