Gallagher will now face UFC veteran Roman Salazar.
The fights billed as Bellator 227 will take place on Paramount Network and DAZN, with the headlining bout featuring former WEC and UFC Lightweight Champion Benson Henderson and Myles Jury.
Brandon Girtz was expected to face Paul Redmond at the event. Redmond pulled out on September 4 due to injury. Girtz will instead face Bellator newcomer Jon Tuck.
