9/13 correct predictions got us belts. Goes to show that people don't know all that much about bellator. For UFC events 1-2 mistakes will lose you the belt but with Bellator's cards, there is a lot more breathing room.

Also, there are always less competitors on Bellator events competitions because of the less known fighters, specially on prelimns, that gives a higher difficulty, and that makes the chances of winning for someone that is good at picking winners greater.

Thanks Man. Bellator or UFC, prelims or main card, I just go to tapology and look up the records of fighters. You can infer a lot of information by just looking at their page, without ever having watched their fights. I mostly pay attention to fight experience, how many fights they've had, what the method of their wins/losses are, age, resume etc. Super jacked guys will usually win more often against doughy dudes, if you're picking against a russian you better have a good reason and so on. With women's fights it's always roll of the dice because they go to decision often and split decision can and will go to random fighter.
At the end of the day, it's just fun and games. That's why I do better here. When I actually put money on 12-13 fight accumulators/parlays, I rarely get more than 8 right, that's because if I put money on the line, then suddenly I turn into risk-averse person, logic goes out the window, and I'll pick the favorite more often than not. I literally bet €1 or €2 on these crazy accas but even then something holds me back. I've been torrenting for 8 years and been a fan of MMA since UFC 189 4 years ago, but it's crazy that it took me this long to find this place. I frequent sherdog and reddit all the time, but never ever see anyone mention this website.

You are right. Checking fight records and backgrounds etc. makes all the difference in the world for your picks.
I guess when it comes to betting with real money you need to take more risks to win more. The higher the risk the higher the reward. Make a lot of risky bets and one correct bet might cover all other losses. Its like trading or casino, or anything in life really Or you can stay safe and bet on favorites and hope for a 51% plus statistic on your winnings over time. Or mix the two strategies in a balanced way.
