Background
The event will be the second that the promotion has contested in Adelaide, following UFC Fight Night: Miocic vs. Hunt in May 2015.
A heavyweight bout between former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior dos Santos and Tai Tuivasa is expected to serve as the event headliner.
Ross Pearson was expected to face Joseph Duffy at the event. However, Pearson announced on 7 November that he was out of the bout due to a broken nose and subsequent surgery to correct the injury, and he was replaced by newcomer M-1 Global Lightweight Champion Damir Ismagulov. In turn Duffy pulled out of the event citing rib injury. Ismagulov will now face fellow newcomer Alex Gorgees.
Ashkan Mokhtarian was scheduled to face promotional newcomer Kai Kara-France at the event. However, Mokhtarian pulled out of the fight on 20 November citing injury. Promotion official are reportedly looking for a replacement in an attempt to keep Kara-France on the card.

Surprised to see Shogun getting the win there, looked like Tyson Pedro fucked his knee up but still! Tuivasa is such a character too, A fair stoppage but he'd probably rather have been completely KO'd rather than the ref stop it there.
