While fans may know that the American season of DWTNCS is already over, the Brazilian offshoot of the show just finished using their new platform to sign a bunch more exciting new talent.

But I read they did the "event" over 3 days. 9, 10 and 11:th of August. So when are they going to broadcast those fights?

Exciting. I thought they'd do away with TUF seeing how succesfull this has become but apparently it's still going ahead on ESPN

I still like TUF. It's a completely different beast in my opinion. I would say contender series is a good gateway for future TUF participants in the sense that if you won on contender series but didnt get a contract your probably perfect for TUF. And even some looser's might have been exiting enough to be given a shot just for turning up and doing their best.

After all winning TUF is a lot harder then winning one fight on contender series. It's a psychological test as well. And TUF can build you up as a fighter being able to train with the best and all that.

I think they can well co-exist even in the future

Quality stuff. Looking forward to it. Will be interesting to see what type of fighters come out of that Series. My interest honestly peaked. I will wait and just check it out, should be good times.
