hi guys! i have a ratio problem. it was around 8.2 then gradually decreased to 4.72. first i thought someone downloaded things using my account and i changed my password. then i checked last downloaded things on my profile and they were all the things i downloaded myself.

do you have any guess what this is all about?

The more details you can give, the better!

i use utorrent server on ubuntu. i used a seedbox before that.

while my ratio was going down size of the downloads increased about 60gb. someone downloaded torrents and they aren't shown on "downloaded to date"

I have asked a staff member to take a look at your account and check IP's connected in peerslist and other things to see if he/she can find anything out of the ordinary.

I suppose that the seedbox was private so it's unlikely, but in case someone has used your passkey to download material you can reset it here (by the bottom):

But you need to redownload the .torrent files you are currently seeding so the new passkey is added (Just the .torrent file, not the whole download). Or add it manually.

I reseted pass key two months ago as we talked but today my ratio has increased from around 4.8 to 10.72. then i've thought wow my ratio came back. but now it's just started to decrease again while i downloaded nothing but uploaded.

it is really weird. i'll reset it again but why does that thing happen?

If that's so it's very odd indeed. It sounds like the torrent client or seedbox script you use has some flaw to me. Maybe someone get access to your passkey?

i was using a seedbox at that time but now i'm not using it. so i think that's not the problem. i reseted the pass key and i've stopped uploading for a while to understand if ratio changes. it is 10.58 now.

Does your ratio change when your torrent client is closed?

no, it doesn't change but i closed the client and reseted the pass key at the same time so i couldn't tell which is the problem. the last time it happened i only changed the passkey and ratio stopped to decrease. so i bet on pass key

now i opened the client again, same client. if ratio starts to decrease again the problem is due to client but if it doesn't someone uses my passkey somehow.
