It's a question of time. Maintaining the site take a lot of time and effort. Much more then anyone can imagine. All admins and moderatrs are busy with they different tasks and have no more time.
If you would be prepared to be the competition administrator and make, run and handle everything around the competitions you are welcome. That way you don't need to donate to boost ratio, you can simply do some work for the community
The reward for working as moderator and administrator is among other things that you dont have to think abut ratio ever again.
