UFC 102: Couture vs. Nogueira is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on August 29, 2009 in Portland, Oregon. It will feature former UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight champion, Randy Couture, facing off against former PRIDE heavweight and UFC interm Heavyweight champion, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

A previously announced bout between Kyle Kingsbury and Razak Al-Hassan has been moved to sometime in or around October.

Thanks a lot for the update. And I have to say that finally we can see Sadollah fighting, I mean, he won TUF ages ago and for a reason or another, he hasn´t fight. He has a lot to prove, he has to prove to himself that he has what it gets to be on the big leagues. And to the fans that he deserves to be on the big leagues. He has to endure what happens to every TUF participant, the doubt by everyone that he deserves his spot and in his case he has a lot more pressure, only for the fact that his first Proffesional Fight was at the TUF Final, bear in mind that almost every TUF participant had at least one proffesional fight on his record and even they were doubted, imagine someone whose only Pro Fight was at the final of the show.
In conclusion Sadollah has the pressure, not only to win but also to impress everyone out there.

This needs a update. Hamill was injured and my main man Krystof will be taking his spot.

The Wilson Gouveia and James Irvin fight is off too, First Irvin got injured and Ed Herman took his spot then a couple days later Wilson was injured.

Justin Mccully and Dos Santos is off as well, Dos Santos will be fighting Cro Cop at a later UFC. I believe the Dallas or LA one.

With today's official addition of Marcus Aurelio to the night's preliminary card, the fight card for this month's "UFC 102: Couture vs. Nogueira" event is now complete.

As MMAjunkie.com (http://www.mmajunkie.com) first reported last week, Aurelio returns to the UFC after a short stint with outside organizations to replace Matt Veach (back injury) in a fight with Evan Dunham.

UFC 102, which takes place Aug. 29 at the Rose Garden Arena in Portland, Ore., boasts a total of 11 fights.

The pay-per-view headliner pits UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture against fellow ex-title-holder Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. A must-win bout for both fighters, the winner could earn another shot at the UFC heavyweight title, which is currently held by Brock Lesnar.

Other notable bouts include a middle weight between top contender Demian Maia and Nate Marquardt as well as a light-heavyweight fight between Keith Jardine and Thiago Silva.

The card features three Oregon natives with Couture, Leben and Dunham.
