“The Last Emperor” and “The Dreamcatcher” are scheduled to touch gloves for the upcoming M-1 Global: ‘Breakthrough’ event from Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Missouri, on August 28.

From the M-1 Global press release:

“We were blown away by just how popular Fedor’s exhibition vs. Aoki in Japan was. Fedor and Gegard have sparred many times together and the sessions have always been intense. Now fight fans watching on HDNet and those attending live in Kansas City will get a rare glimpse at two of the best fighters in the world sparring each other.”

Mousasi is set to battle Renato “Babalu” Sobral for the Strikeforce light heavyweight championship at the upcoming ‘Carano vs. Cyborg’ event on August 15 from San Jose.

Emelianenko, who recently clowned lightweight grappler Shinya Aoki in an exhibition grappling match last April, is expected to make his Strikeforce debut later this Fall against an opponent to be named.

Fans will be able to see all the ‘action’ go down live via HDNet on fight night.

Starting to get tired of Fedors non-interesting fights

Then you're going to lasp into a coma soon, because his next three actual opponents will be from the bottom of the top 20 ranked Heavyweights.

This would actually be a pretty interesting fight if it wasn't an exhibition. Mousasi is a lot better than Werdum and Rogers IMO.

Lets go the Spider and Fedor catch-weight super-fight at 200Lbs. Cmon this at too much to ask Fedor is only 6ft and he has like 30 pounds of fat on him... SILVA VS FEDOR WOULD BE WAY BIGGER THAN LESNER VS FEDOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No fight would be bigger than Lesnar vs. Fedor. Lesnar puts a ridiculous amount of asses in seat, and cash in pockets.

People mainly want to see Anderson vs. Fedor now, because a lot of Fedor fans are disgruntled at the fact that Anderson Silva is now the talk of Internet forums; for weeks, every single conversation was either about Fedor, or quickly brought up Fedor. Also, talk of Fedor being the best has died down, and a lot of people are talking about Anderson.

So naturally, people want Anderson vs. Fedor, because some think Fedor can beat Anderson, and thus be the talk of the Internet again. However, you won't see these fights anytime soon, because Fedor is fighting elsewhere.
