The fans have won. Now when strikeforce have signed Fedor, there is still competition for the UFC. This will make the sport grow faster. Now UFC really needs to put up some stacked fightcards, because Strikeforce certanly will. And strikeforce will hold much more events than Afflticion did.

I don't think he'd have to worry about losing 2 fights in a row, he's done pretty well up till now. And I don't think the money he was offered by Dana could be called slavery. Sambo sure as hell ain't payin his bills.

I'll buy the bleeding heart "slavery" bullshit about the UFC once Lesnar, Anderson Silva, BJ Penn, GSP, Forrest Griffin, Machida, Rampage, Liddell, Diego, Dan Henderson and several of the other hundreds of fighters on the roster start complaining about it.

Otherwise, "slavery" is just a buzzword for people butthurt that the UFC is bigger than their favorite minor league.



StrikeForce cannot compete with the UFC.

The UFC does just fine with their cards, with or without StrikeForce, and they will continue to do so.

It seems to me like StrikeForce has a good relationship with the UFC. The only bad thing ever said between the two was only with regards to Fedor. Otherwise the UFC seems silent about it.

Apart from Dana now referring to them as StrikeFarce, and not having the money and resources to afford M-1 and Fedor.
