this was a newspaper when I was a kid,

no consecitive numbers can touch horozontal or verticall:-

3456
--87--
apart from the obvious 1 & 2 3 & 4 & 5 & 6 7 & 8 touching so are 2 & 3 6 & 7 this is how not to do it

I figured that as 1 and 8 are the only numbers that doesnt have 2 other numbers directly following or before they needed to be in the center and then it was just a question of fitting the rest in a logical way. Pretty cool game after all ;)
