Congrats to the winners!
Check out all post fight related news right here

Spoiler:
Rich Franklin, Wanderlei Silva, Rodrigo Damm and Marcos "Vina" Vinicius on Saturday won $65,000 bonuses for their performances at UFC 147.

Franklin and Silva shared the "Fight of the Night" award for their five-round main-event, Damm won "Submission of the Night" and Vinicius picked up "Knockout of the Night." UFC officials announced the winners and bonus amounts at the post-event press conference, which MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) attended.

UFC 147 took place at Estadio Jornalista Felipe Drumond in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The main card aired on pay-per-view following prelims that on Facebook and FX.

For Franklin and Silva, it was the second time their main event has picked up "Fight of the Night" honors. Their first fight, at UFC 99 three years ago, also won the award. Franklin won that fight by unanimous decision. And on Saturday, he was able to do it again – but in a five-round war that had him needing to survive a major offensive surge from Silva in the second.

Damm, a featherweight cast member of "The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil" and a Strikeforce veteran, had little trouble submitting his biggest rival on the show, Anistavio "Gasparzinho" Medeiros. Damm sank in a rear-naked choke against "Gaspar," the "TUF: Brazil" house's resident troublemaker, and forced him to tap just 2:12 into the fight.

And Vinicius, also a featherweight cast member in the "TUF: Brazil" house, mounted a third-round comeback to knock out Wagner "Galeto" Campos in a fight that streamed live on Facebook. A big knee to the body hurt Campos, and from there Vinicius was able to land several big shots against the cage until Campos was dropped.

Spoiler:
The long-awaited Vitor Belfort-Wanderlei Silva rematch didn't happen on Saturday, but the UFC still has its sights on the two meeting again.

A broken hand suffered last month by Belfort knocked him out of the UFC 147 main event against Silva, whom he had coached against in the first season of "The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil." Rich Franklin took his place and won a unanimous decision.

But the UFC is targeting its next event in Brazil – likely October in Rio de Janeiro – for Belfort and Silva to finally meet again.

Marshall Zelaznik, the UFC's managing director of international development, said at Saturday's post-fight press conference, which MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) attended, that the promotion still wants to move forward with the rematch.

"That's certainly something we're working towards," Zelaznik said. "No contracts have been sent or signed, but I think that's in the plans – to try and make that fight happen."

Belfort and Silva, both national heroes in Brazil, first met at "UFC Ultimate Brazil" in October 1998, which was promotion's first visit to Brazil – in the pre-Zuffa era. Belfort won that fight with a 44-second TKO. The two were scheduled to run that fight back nearly 14 years later after their coaching stints on "TUF: Brazil" when Belfort broke his hand training for the fight.

Although not officially announced by the promotion, Zelaznik this past week said the UFC is likely to return to Brazil in October for UFC 153, and sources close to the event told MMAjunkie.com an Oct. 13 date in Rio de Janeiro is being targeted.

The Belfort-Silva rematch originally was to be the co-main event in a soccer stadium show behind Anderson Silva-Chael Sonnen. But when the soccer stadium couldn't work, Silva-Sonnen was moved to UFC 148 in Las Vegas, making Belfort-Silva the headliner. It is possible it would be in the main event spot if it comes to fruition for the fall card in Rio.

UFC 147 took place at Estadio Jornalista Felipe Drumond in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The main card aired on pay-per-view following prelims that on Facebook and FX.

Spoiler:
For Rony Mariano, it was the night of a lifetime, the Brazilian featherweight living out a dream by winning TUF Brazil with a victory at Saturday night's UFC 147. The unanimous decision over Godofredo Pepey gave him a contract in the world's leading fight promotion. That's the good news.

The bad news is that he won't exactly be starting off his octagon career on Dana White's good side, as the UFC president was quite critical of his performance, even in victory.

"I didn’t like it at all," he said in a post-event interview on FUEL TV. "I think that these guys from the Ultimate Fighter Brazil came out like killers in the fight to get into the house, and then all season long. I think because it's such a big event, this place was crazy, it was rocking, they were signing autographs all day. I think they got a little caught up in the hype. Guess what? You’re not in the UFC yet. Come out and you have to perform."

Mariano, who goes by the nickname "Jason," won the fight by a trio of 29-28 scores but the fight was marked by some periods of inactivity, though it wasn't anything out of the ordinary.

White did note that he was in a bad mood given the events of the previous night, perhaps referencing the bizarre Clay Guida vs. Gray Maynard fight at UFC on FX 4.

The Mariano-Pepey fight was nothing like that one, but White felt that the combatants didn't show the drive and desire that often comes from two fighters competing for a UFC contract.

"Usually the finale is the best fight of the season," he said. "These guys come out and they go for it. I think because the arena was packed and these guys felt like rockstars all week, they were coming out singing and dancing and s--- like they already had world titles. It was kind of weird."

White's criticism didn't extend to TUF middleweight champ Cezar Ferreira, who survived a battle with Sergio Moraes in a decision win.

"That fight was better," he said. "I was happy with that fight, but not 100 percent thrilled with the night."

common!! the fight between Felipe Arantes and Milton Vieira was a draw, and here in competition you scored as a "loss" which i didn't win 10 GB! common guys!! why dont you consider it as a "win". there is no draw choice in competition(either win or loss pick). check that guys, i dont want to loose again this 10 GB award :'( . i have 8 correct picks with 1 draw and 2 false.

You win some and you loose some... A draw is a draw. And as far as I know, correct me if Im wrong, you can pick draw in the competition.

actually dolcca...
i make each competition...
every fight has 3 choices you can pick...
fighter 1... fighter 2... draw...
every competition... every fight... draw IS an option...
if you had picked draw for that fight you would have got it right...
but if you picked viera or arantes you would have got it wrong...

i feel your pain man... i chose arantes and i thought he won pretty clearly...
so i feel like i got screwed out of a point by 1 retard judge who scored it 28-28 instead of picking a fucking winner... :-q

if you were to be given a point for that fight then everyone else would also want a point for that fight...
do you know why...? because nobody ever picks draw!! \m/
