Assume mount on oponent. Place your left forearm under the neck of the oponent. Place your right wrist over the oponent throat with your wrist bent to accomodate the curvature of the oponents throat. Now put your right elbow on the ground, and with your left hand grab either your right or left gi sleeve or forearm. Pull your right elbow up, left hand down, and your right wrist will force into their throat.

Appliers simply use their hands (in figure four fashion) to hyperextend the ankle. This move can only be applied when the opponent's leg is controlled. Though this submission hasn't been terribly effective in mixed martial arts, an example of it can be found in Frank Mir's submission victory over Tank Abbott.

Toe Hold
Dent: It´s practically impossible to do the Ezekiel Choke without the Gi, due to the fact that the Gi is what you use to apply the pressure by holding onto it. By doing it without the Gi you lose the pressure and it would be very uncomfortable for your wrist. In my opinion and for what I´ve trained it´s impossible but maybe there is someone with much more experience than me that could explain you better...

alright uchubaco, im going to that this one : From the guard, the performer places one leg under the opponent's armpit and turns toward that leg, thereby catching their opponent's arm. By pushing the arm away from the back, terrible pressure is put on the shoulder.
