Nick Lembo of the New Jersey State Athletic Control Board has confirmed that the indefinite suspension against Thiago Alves has been removed and that he may resume his MMA career. Lembo had the following to say…
"Mr. Alves is medically cleared as of today to resume his career as a professional mixed martial artist in the UFC. It is a pleasure to be able to clear Thiago and allow him to return to what he loves doing after all he has been through."
- Also, with his medical clearance, it looks as if the long rumored Thiago Alves vs. Jon Fitch bout will take place at UFC 117 on August 7th. Here is the updated card…
