I picked Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva
So you want to know why this is my pick?
Who fought bareknuckle NHB fights at age 17 and WON?
Who is one of the most recognizable figure in MMA among the general (international) public?
Who brings the true values of fighting into reality?
For GODS SAKES WHO TRAINS WITH A SNORKEL AND TAPE OVER HIS NOSE!
Lets face it. MMA, Professional Boxing, K-1, FIGHTING in general isn't about agility, speed, technique, strategy, etc. Those are all diplomatic expressions that rationalize the action of fighting in the eyes and in the minds of the general public, where humanitarian qualities are highly regarded. In the end, we all know what we want.
We enjoy when fighters of legendary status, who in fact never tasted championship status, like Mirko Cro Cop brutally lands his left kick and sends his opponents to the mat with an instant, and it is our enjoyment that in the first place led this man to legendary status.
We enjoy it when the nasal bone is pushed into the brain resulting from an explosive and furious uppercut of Mike Tyson just after he had delivered that right hook to the body!
Those kind of uppercuts are also a huge factor to the revival of boxing, why?
EXCITEMENT, ACTION, POWER, PASSION!
For the same reason people will always be pleased when they pay 45 hard earned American dollars to watch the man that they know will excite them.
This man showed us what true fighting is all about. This man is one of the most inspiring men in the sport that actually brought a HUGE lot of people into the sport, including my self.
He is no exceptional athelete, he is no technical standout nor a man of unnatural strength.
He is a man of nothing but hard work and passion.
He can be described as the Axe Murderer, but...
We all know him as Wanderlei Silva.
Songs that describe his fighting: Grinder II - Frank Klepacki from the Red Alert 3 Soundtrack
Close your eyes while you listen and imagine some highlights of Wanderlei Silva fights.
The wars he had with Cro Cop, Henderson, Rampage, etc.

I voted Nick Diaz. Partially because I didn't want to be like everyone else and choose Fedor or Wandy. It's hard not to pick Wandy, but as of late Wandy is getting slower and except for his cardio, he hasn't changed much of his game.
Takanori Gomi was once Japan's most promising prospect, a rising star who seemed destined to dominate the sport for years. Then he ran into Nick Diaz. Nick and Gomi threw some big bombs but Nick finished with a gogoplata...all this against one of the sports best....all while high.
At UFC 47, everyone knew Robbie Lawler was going to try to knockout Nick Diaz out. Everyone knew Diaz would try to take things to the mat and end the bout with a submission. Everyone was wrong. Diaz stood toe-to-toe with Lawler, not only matching him punch for punch, but also taunting him throughout. Diaz shocked the world with a right cross, putting Lawler on the mat face first.
Frank Shamrock is an MMA legend, a former UFC champion who retired on the top of his game. He returned with a big splash in 2006 with mixed success; Nick Diaz was the first to truly expose how much Shamrock had slipped, beating him into a pulp in Shamrock's hometown of San Jose....priceless....
After losing a close decision to Joe Riggs, Diaz continued the scrap at the hospital...classic. I love the way wikipedia lays it out: "It was there that Diaz confronted Riggs and proceeded to punch him in the face, knocking Riggs to his knees. Diaz then tackled Riggs into a wall and started to knee him when the police arrived and quickly rushed in to separate the two."
One of the best at taunting in the sport with him throwing a shoe at a greasy looking Diego Sanchez in the locker room before they fought.
Then there is the KJ Noons incident....lost to Noons, called it in the pre-fight saying the only way he loses was by stoppage due to cuts (had that surgically fixed afterward) Then at an event with his brother in Hawaii: "EliteXC executives asked Diaz to come to the ring and make a statement about a possible title rematch with Noons. Noons, a Native of Hawaii, asked the crowd their opinion, resulting in an echo of boos for Diaz. After Nick spoke over the microphone to Noons, saying, "don't be scared homey," Carl Noons, KJ's father, lunged at him prompting Nate Diaz to throw a water bottle at the elder Noons"
I loved watchin Noons 67 year old dad flip out....I really hope they eventually rematch in DREAM or in Strikeforce.
I know he is not the best 170lbs guy out there....but there is never a dull moment around the Diaz house.
As for a song....I would have to pick some sort of Cypress Hill...I really suiting track would be Latin Thugs...or maybe Insane in the Brain.
Nick always makes for great pictures too....he loves mean muggin.
Even when he was a baby he loved mean mugging and shaking his fist at people:

I chose Aoki for a few reasons. First, he consistently puts on entertaining fights. Obviously the Strikeforce fight sucked but he didn't really take that much damage and should've worn knee and ankle braces. He finishes guys with crazy stuff that's sometimes brand new. The Aokiplata was one of the coolest subs I've seen. Granted, it wasn't against the most skilled opponent, but it was still cool as hell. Neck cranks, arm-breaking hammerlocks, last-second armbars, RNC while opponent waves to the crowd; it's always exciting.
His pants. If Cro Cop has head kicks and Silva has head stomps, Aoki has pants. I'm no homo/metrosexual, but I love his pants. They get crazier and more flamboyant every fight. In addition to being original and crazy, they're also extremely smart (but the candy-canes were my favorite). He knows they can help him a lot and he takes advantage of that. Energy. He comes out screaming along to his entrance song in a gi. He scooted after his opponent on several occasions.
Now in his defense: he shouldn't have flicked off Hirota, but I don't blame him for breaking his arm. He wasn't going to tap, even facing a broken arm, so Aoki took it to the next level and broke it. In the Melendez fight, no one convincingly won. Melendez definitely controlled the fight and deserved the win, but Aoki didn't get close to a submission and Melendez didn't land anything heavy until the last 10 seconds.
Now I chose "Kom Igen Lena" by Hakan Hellstrom. TBH I don't know enough Swedish to understand the lyrics lol. So I chose it for the rhythm and tempo. It's upbeat and fast. It sort of has a "fun" feeling to it, and I feel like Aoki has that style of carefree, all-out.

"Favo[u]rite" is tough to support objectively. "Scariest", not so much. Based on my personal issues and masochistic tendencies (as one look at my mother-in-law would confirm...), they are essentially one and the same. For this, there is only one choice. Sure, Fedor may be the baddest man on the planet, but if you find yourself in the cage across from Fedor, you know you will live. He looks like he's reading the Wall Street Journal. He doesn't want to rip your limbs off and beat you to death with them. Many of the others, as well, are undoubtably good fighters.
But there is only one Axe Murderer. "Rampage" still wakes up screaming in the night from his beating back in the Pride ring.
Wise parents cover their children's eyes during Silva's staredowns and the hand-wringing to prevent the scarring that will occur from seeing that over and over in your nightmares. Charles Manson was asked about Silva in an interview and was quoted as saying, "Whoa, that dude is f***** scary!" (OK, maybe I made that part up, but it sounds good.)
Seriously - name someone else who'd be worse to find locked in the cage with you. See? You can't. Neither can I. Don't add me to the list of people who can't get those eyes and those rolling hands out of their night-sweat inducing nightmares. Even his action figure is scary.
Wanderlei is the ONLY possible answer. If you disagree, please take it up with the gentleman across the cage twirling his hands.

Rampage Jackson!
I remember a couple of years ago I watched boxing and I was a martials arts fan but I had hardly watched anny mma. My friend at work and I used to bet on loads of things and he was an mma fan. He was asking if I wanted to take a punt on the next UFC event. "Whose fighting?" I said. "The Axe Murder is fighting Rampage." he replied. My mind nearly exploded. It sounded AWESOME. From the off I fancied this fighter known as 'Rampage'. That night I was watched hours of Rampage stuff on youtube. (crucially not the Wandi fights though) and I was blown away. Not just by 'Page, but by MMA. It was like a moment of clairty. I was hooked on MMA from that day forth. I did put that bet on Rampage and my 'in the know' friend must have been rubbing his dirty mits thinking he had just got an easy pay day from a dumb mark. Then, of course, Rampage beat Wandi. It was the last fight in the first ever MMA event that I had watched live on TV. From that day forward I watched all the MMA I could get my hands on (thank you internets) and discovered other fighters that I became a fan of (Sakuraba, Eddie Alvarez, Nick Diaz, BJ Penn, Junior Dos Santos) but Rampage will alway be the man for me. He's funny, a true fighter and always awesome. (Yes I am ignoring 114, but "he can still kiss my ass" made it almost worth it.)
Best song that sums up Quinton? How about Rage by Atari Teenage Riot.

I pick George Saint Pierre because he is really good fighter, he has the best fitness from all the other fighters and he has the best behaviour. He is not a pozer, he is a very pleasant person and he is not causes the other fighters the opposite , he respect them. His fight style is Kyokushin, Wrestling, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has win a lot of honors wich are : 2008 ESPY Nominee 2008 Canadian Athlete of the Year 2009 Fighter of the Year by Sports Illustrated (SI.com) 2009 Fighter of the Year by MMAPayout.com 2009 Fighter of the Year by Inside MMAon HDNet 2009 Fighter of the Year MMAJunkie.com 2009 Fighter of the Year Fighters Only World MMA Awards 2009 Sportsnet’s Canadian Athlete of the Year, Runner-up for the Lional Conacher Award, the first time a MMA fighter has ever been nominated for the award. Also he is 2 time and reigning UFC Welterweight Champion and he wants to climb to the next weight category, after he has win the best fighters of his category. Such as BJ PENN and DAN HARDY. He most fights are spectacular and almost always shows how good athlete is. He is a good athlete because he is trainning hard and it was revealed on January 2, 2010 that St. Pierre was considering leaving MMA so he could try out for the Canadian freestyle wrestling team and compete at the 2012 Summer Olympics, which group(olympic team) he is already training.
His fighting career started just like this at age of seven, GSP decided to learn karate to defend himself against a school bully, but it was watching Royce Gracie fight in 1993 at UFC 1 that inspired him to one day become a UFC champion. Fortunately he wasn;t a bully like other fighters.. His best fights are : Matt Hughes Submission (Armbar) UFC 79: Nemesis 02007-12-29 December 29, 2007 B.J. Penn TKO (Corner Stoppage) UFC 94: St Pierre vs Penn 2 02009-01-31 January 31, 2009 Jason Miller Decision (Unanimous) UFC 52: Couture vs Liddell 2 02005-04-16 April 16, 2005 Jon Fitch Decision (Unanimous) UFC 87: Seek and Destroy 02008-08-09 August 9, 2008 For the end the first song that came to my head for Saint Pierre is from the ANGEL CREW - BRING DOWN THE WORLD because this song is like a big explosion and Saint Pierre he is and he has a big explosions when he is fighting.
