UFC 155: Dos Santos vs. Velasquez II is an upcoming mixed martial arts pay-per-view event to be held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on December 29, 2012 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Background

Chael Sonnen was expected to face Forrest Griffin at this event. However, Sonnen was pulled from the fight to coach the seventeenth season of The Ultimate Fighter opposite UFC Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones and was replaced by Phil Davis.
Gray Maynard had to pull out of his UFC 155 clash with Joe Lauzon due to a knee injury. Jim Miller will face Lauzon in Maynard’s stead.
Chris Weidman is out of his scheduled UFC 155 bout with Tim Boetsch and will be replaced by teammate Constantinos Philippou.
Injury forces Forrest Griffin out of UFC 155 bout with Phil Davis
