Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson Out of UFC 153Bad news for those hoping that UFC 153 would go off without any other injuries. According to UFC president Dana White, former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson isn't fighting Glover Teixeira at UFC 153 due to injury. He announced it to the world via twitter a little while ago: Dana White ✔ @danawhite Rampage is hurt and out of UFC 153 RIO. SUCKS!!!!!! 11 Sep 12 ReplyRetweetFavorite Jackson (32-10) had talked of leaving the UFC after this bout since this was the last fight on his contract, but I guess that will have to wait for now. No word on the injury has come out as of yet, but Rampage has talked many times of fighting through injuries before so this is probably serious. No new opponent for Teixeira has been named yet, but that will probably be handled in the next few days. UPDATE - MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani is reporting that Jackson suffered an elbow injury. http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2012/9/11/33 ... a-mma-news

I know Aldo had a accident on his motor bike but what I read was he was still fighting, and I can not find any news about this, where is your source. Jose Aldo hit by car, relegated to public transportation until UFC 153That was close. Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo was hit by a car over the weekend while traveling on his motorcycle in Brazil. "Junior" was unharmed during the accident, but his coach, Andre Pederneiras, has instructed his star pupil to stay off the streets for the next few weeks. Fighters Only has the report: Teammates Luis Ramos and Alexandre Baixinho, who live close to the place where "Scarface" was involved in the car crash, showed up immediately and took Aldo to the gym for a meet with head coach Andre Pederneiras. After checking that everything was OK with Jose, "Dede" recommended his athlete only to take taxis until October 13th, the date in which he will face off Frankie Edgar. Whew. Considering this is the same type of accident that nearly ended the career of UFC Heavyweight Frank Mir, Aldo is lucky to escape unscathed. I'm sure Frankie Edgar is also relieved, considering "The Answer" recently opted to fill in for the injured Erik Koch at UFC 153 on Oct. 13 in Rio. All's well that ends well. http://www.mmamania.com/2012/9/3/328957 ... il-car-mmaFOUND IThttps://twitter.com/danawhite/status/245629297098903552Now Aldo is out with foot injury. Main and co main in the same day!! Another amazing day at the UFC. We have some work to do
