Josh Koscheck has long lobbied for a fight against UFC Hall of Famer Matt Hughes. As the fates pulled Diego Sanchez from a fight with Hughes at UFC 135 on Saturday night, Koscheck finally was granted that opportunity, immediately accepting a slot opposite Hughes in Denver.

Although he carries a lot of respect with him into the fight, Koscheck isn’t one to shy away from Hughes not responding sooner to his attempts to put the fight together.
