Noons looked good against Gurgel, although it may have been Gurgel making him look good. I'm not sure what this guys deal is with wanting to stand and bang, but it appears he'd rather take an arse whopping on the feet than take it to the ground and win....daddy issues?
Souza and Kennedy was a back and forth war. Really enjoyed watching that fight.
Overall the event was a little unprofessional in my mind. The ref really screwed up in the Lashley fight. Stood them up to check a cut when Lashley was in mount then restarted them standing after the cut was checked, which totally changed the course of the fight. Also the ref in the Noons vs. Gurgel hesitated on more than one occasion, with one resulting in Gurgel receiving extra punches to the head and a big knee. Also the event organisers were getting the fighters to sign paperwork in the cage on the PPV FEED! Talk about BAAAADD!
