The Ultimate Fighting Championship isn't the only organization hosting professional fight cards in Las Vegas.

The upstart MMA Xplosion organization returns to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on July 31 for an eight-bout card featuring top professional prospects from Wand Fight Team, Striking Unlimited, TapouT Las Vegas and Xtreme Couture, among others. The night's card broadcasts in its entirety on the Takedown Sports Network.

MMAjunkie.com lead staff reporter John Morgan and "MMA:30" host and X107.5 FM radio personality Dave Farra have been hired to call the action.

Morgan and Farra also paired together to call MMA Xplosion's May 22 event, "Final Table Fight Night," and the duo has teamed up to broadcast several fight cards from the nationally recognized amateur promotion Tuff-N-Uff.

MMA Xplosion's July 31 event features a main event between Wand Fight Team instructor Vitor Vianna (8-1) and TapouT's B.J. "Da Beast" Lacy (12-15-1). The favored Viana, whose lone career loss came in 2006 to seven-time UFC veteran Thiago Silva, fights for the first time in more than two years. Meanwhile, Lacy looks to avoid his opponent's superior ground attack while unleashing a set of heavy hands that have earned the 29-year-old eight career wins by knockout.

In the night's co-feature, another Wanderlei Silva coached fighter, Jorge "Lil' Monster" Lopez (6-1) meets three-time WEC veteran Dave "The Bionic" Terrel (6-3). The 21-year-old Lopez is riding a six-fight win streak that includes a first-round knockout of fellow top prospect Chidi Njokuani in May. Meanwhile, Terrel, an Xtreme Couture product, looks to build on a 1-1 mark since his 2008 release from the WEC.

Completing a trio of Wand Fight Team prospects, light heavyweight slugger Travis Bartlett (8-1) meets the infamous Aaron Brink (22-18) in a potential slugfest while UFC veteran and "The Ultimate Fighter 10" castmember Scott Junk (6-2-1) faces 6-foot-9 Californian Maurice "The Gorilla" Jackson (2-2).

Tickets for MMA Xplosion's July 31 event, which start at just $30, are available at Ticketmaster.com. The pay-per-view stream, which runs just $6.95, can be purchased at Takedown Sports Network's official website.

The evening's full card includes:

* Vitor Vianna vs. B.J. Lacy
* Jorge Lopez vs. Dave Terrel
* Travis Bartlett vs. Aaron Brink
* Maurice Jackson vs. Scott Junk
* Zak Bucia vs. Danny Davis Jr.
* Chris Kennedy vs. Chidi Njokuani
* Chris Holdsworth vs. TBA
* Maurice Senters vs. Gor Mnatsakanyan
