Lyoto is amazing. Period. That belt is going to have permanent Lyoto ass prints in it. That's how long he's going to own it.

So far, 2009 has been a quiet year for the Las Vegas-based promotion. Karo Parisyan remains the sole fighter to be flagged by the NSAC for illicit drug use. The Armenian-born fighter remains suspended until January of 2010.
2009 is going to be an amazing year, but I believe that with all of the "new breed" of up-and-coming fighters, 2010 will be a historic year. Hopefully, MMA's popularity will continue to grow over the next few years.
While the NSAC receives a lot of criticism for its harsh and sometimes esoteric treatment of fighters, they are doing the sport a huge favor. A level playing field is critical for MMA's survival as a legitimate high level sport and not solely entertainment. Entertainment is obviously part of the MMA equation, but it should not be the highest priority.
