Thanks for all the reports regarding the suspicious uploads recently. They have all been removed and user has been disabled.

Just delete the files from your computer if you happened to download them. So far nobody has reported actually being infected or anything similar and it could have been made by "mistake" without any bad intentions, but the weirdness of the files where enough for us to delete all 4 uploads.

Remember to never open any "weird" files like batch files or anything similar in any cases.

And thanks again for reporting, we received a massive amount of reports on all 4 uploads, showing that the community is on its guard at all times, love it, thanks again

I checked it out and the .jpg was actually a .zip and the shortcut just renamed and extracted the .zip file. Harmless but very strange way of uploading the files.


Admin: Thank you! We scanned all the files with different antivirus's and none gave any warnings so probably not malware. Most likely an attempt to boost ratio in a way that is against our rules anyway. But yes agreed, too strange for comfort.

Hey gents,

It would be helpful to know the name of the files, if possible. I am assuming it was the Octopus Guard 2.1 and the Modern Heel Hook defence? I actually didn't download those ones because of the red flags, but I may have snagged the two others, unknowingly.
