well after setting it all up, pressing the question mark shows me all matches to my filter, but when it comes to downloading, i get an error message saying

"Error loading torrent. (https://mma-torrents.com/download.php?id=xxxxxx"

scrap that, got it working, i had to add my cookie info to the rss link (uid and pass)

so far i have got a few working, use these 2 if you want every torrent file checked

if you want to check a specific category to match your filters

for UFC SD content, add ?cat=103 onto the end of the RSS link

The error you first had has to do with rutorrent and not our site

Maybe up or downgrading the version or one of the suggested solutions in these topics above would resolve your issue.

New to the forum and the tracker, thanks for having me.

I have been using flexget for years to manage autodownloading.

I've tried the suggestion above both in the browser, and in flexget however the download links contained in the feed don't appear to work. I've tried some variations as well (converting the above into query string params etc...)

Any further suggestions at all?

Can I second the notion of setting up an IRC announce channel.
Ive been using RSS to download All *bellator* and *UFC* to help the site out with my seedbox (>18TB uploads) but got caught out today with the 400GB UFC 100-150 torrent. It put my seedbox over disk quota and suspended my account (Sorted now)
I'm happy to download large torrents like that when planned manually but would prefer to filter max size like you can with autodl-irssi (cant be done with RSS) so I can be comfortable letting it do its thing. Ive now got RSS disabled while I ponder.

Maybe one of you guys could run the channel

We had an IRC channel for many years ,probably around 5-6 years, 3 guys max used it, usually max 1.

Unfortunately maintaining and running an IRC channel for 2-3 guys isn't really worth it. If more people would use it, why not, but maintaining an IRC channel for many years with no users doesnt make sense.

What I should have said was thanks for taking the time to write and explain.
Anyone else that may encounter my issue my workaround has been to simple be more explicit with my RSS filters. Bellator i've left and hope is fine but my *UFC* becomes *UFC.23* *UFC.Fight* *UFC.on.ESPN* *UFC.Now* etc
This should catch majority and I can monitor how it goes. Updating to *UFC.24* or just *UFC.2* in future etc

I could give you some strings but I don't know how flexible your filters are. Can you use regex? Do you also have "negative" filters as of what to "not download"?
