Sorry, I am a real noob when it comes to stuff like this and a bit short on time to go testing advised programs/ websites for downloading.

Anyone who has had success downloading videos from there; what program/ website did you use to do so?

Thanks, would be a massive help for myself as I'm finding a lot of the videos I want to watch that were previously uploaded here are dead with no seeders, so I'd like to download them off Fite TV as they are on there, but I prefer watching stuff through VLC.

Regarding the torrents you want to download. Request a reseed on the files or check if they are in a pack with seeders.
