I've been donated a seedbox account and want to use it to share mma torrents. But I'm not sure how to use it. I tried adding the Magnet URI but it says "Failed to add". Any advice appreciated.

Also, how do I associate my mma-torrent account with the seedbox to help my ratio?

Let me help you out!

Do you know what seedbox script you are using? Rtorrent or Torrentflux or any other? If you give me some details it is easier for me to help you on that specific type of box!

For the record:

To use a seedbox...

1. Download the .torrent file from here and save it on your desktop.
2. Login to your seedbox and click the "Browse" or "Add torrent", or similar, button.
3. Browse to the .torrent file you downloaded from here on your desktop and select it.
4. The torrent is now in the seedbox queue, click start to commence the download if it doesnt start automatically.
5. Let it seed for as long as possible.

What torrents should I add to my seedbox?

1. Freeleech torrents just after they are uploaded.
2. Freeleech torrents that have active leechers.
3. Freeleech torrents with future potential like packs and collections. people will download those long after upload.
4. Popular torrents, latest event, instructional etc, RIGHT after its uploaded. If you are early you can get a boost. If you are late dont even think about it.
5. Once you already have a good ratio you can add all and anything to the box and just seed away. But start from 1.

Btw, I used the seedbox Dent suggests in his signature, Dentoo and my ratio has increased massively.

Follow the steps laid out above but I would also add the following:

DON"T seed same torrent from both a seedbox and a torrent client. ONLY seed from the seedbox. The torrent client I used (uTorrent for Mac) just messed up my ratio. It's a known glitch apparently.
