Yeah but somehow K-1, not being an MMA organisation, has almost assimilated into MMA. I've never met a UFC fan who doesn't like K-1 but I've never met a boxing fan who likes or has even heard of K-1, so that's why I chucked them in with the MMA boys because even though it's kickboxing it's closer in fan base than boxing.
Also, regarding the "Mr Hostile" comment, the internet leaves no room for inflection so it was easy to see what you said as hostile, so don't worry about it. Also, Joe Rogan said in Talking Monkeys In Space you should always talk about a fighter as if he was standing right behind you, hell, even Kevin Smith made a movie about flamers on the net. I personally love Badr Hari even though I know he's a cock. He probably has the least amount of integrity in the game and also probably beats his girlfriend/wife, but all that aside, even you have to admit he's damn fun to watch.

I voted Anderson Silva. It always seems that he never even has to try in the ring. I'd love to see someone REALLY challenge him. I haven't watched enough of Fedor Emelianenko, apparently I have some vids I need to watch according to this poll. I need to go school myself some more on that guy.

was anderson silva but fights are predictable now and boring, he's performance used to remind me of the brazilian footballers from about 10 years ago, lots of flare and precision striking.
i still wait for the old school silva to return to the ring. he currently fights to protect the belt... disappointing.

I voted for GSP, because I thought this was about the BEST P4P fighter, not my favorite...
With this in mind it would be a toss up between:
The Uberreem: His knees WILL kill you, ring or cage, K-1 or MMA. Ask Teixiera... or that puddin who fought him at Dynamite '09. Beyond this, he has some legitimate MMA skill. He will be the one to beat Fedor, I suspect.
Manny "Pac-Man" Pacquioa: Not many boxers have as much star power as Manny, certainly not in recent times. Fast, light on his feet, insane skills. This guy, recently, knocked out Ricky Hatton in 2 rounds (one of the sickest knockouts in recent boxing memory). This guy is 51-3-2, with a storied career. This is the guy that could crowd Floyd Maywether Jr. and make him quit, if they'd sign the damned fight. This guy is the best boxer in the world.
Randy "The Natural" Couture: An easy one for the list - the guy who should have retired 5 years ago... 5 years ago. Now that his age is showing he lacks strength, and he is visibly slower, but his cardio is still there, and his skill set is remarkable. It's been said, and it's true, that Randy is a master strategist. He turns every fight in to a chess match. He's patient. He is, dare I say it, Wise. Is he MMA's Sun Tzu?
Brock Lesnar: Love him or hate him the man is phenomenal. If Randy is Sun Tzu, then Brock Lesner is George S. Patton: a loud mouthed, unstoppable, wrecking machine. The man was scary enough when he entered the sport, but the scariest thing about him is that he actually has the capacity to learn stuff. He's not just some dumb wrestler, and his career has only just begun.

Voted for Anderson Silva. The reason I voted for Anderson is because when you watch his fights you know you are watching a guy who is just on another level; you know you are witnessing something special.
Yes he has had some lackluster fights, and I'm not making excuses for him but much of that comes down to his opponents not really wanting to exchange with him.
The way he disposed of tough guys like Franklin, Leben, Griffin, Irvin is pretty amazing, along with being the most accurate striker in the organization.
Also the fact that he finishes fights unlike GSP.

Best of all time is Wanderlei Silva imo. He was smashing all on his way few years ago.

I think the poll should be titled "Your Favourite p4p fighter from this small list".... Personally I'm a huge fan of Nik Diaz and have been since he beat Robbie Lawler back at UFC 45 odd. I'd love to see him get another contract with the UFC and take on GSP if he's still the champ after the Koscheck fight.

Please make a complete list and post it here and I will make a new poll out of it.
