Hi, Best community I've ever joined. The resources on here are great, when it comes to grappling it's improved my skills to another level but now I'm looking to improve my striking and get a bit more well-rounded. Not sure where to start - I've just got the Teddy Atlas boxing fundamentals, any other suggestions or must have's? |

The footwork Blueprint by Trevor Wittman is a great MMA boxing instructional |

The Barry Robinson stuff is next level as well. As mentioned, Trevor Wittman. Ryan Hall stuff is good too as he covers jits but then talks how you would apply it to MMA. I'd like to see more wrestling for MMA stuff. |

Duke Roufus (head coach of Anothony Pettis and a few others) has a good series that covers all standing striking for MMA. There are videos around 5-10 mins each covering stuff from stance onwards, then on top of that there's a beginner and advanced version of each video. That has been my main resource for learning striking - there's lots of good details that aren't mentioned other places. All the suggestions above are also good but the Duke Roufus one with the small videos on topics is the one I tend to come back to. Damien Trainor on instagram is amazing and I'd love to have his striking basics dvd but it's not currently on here and I'm yet to buy it. |

The Rodney King Crazy Monkey stuff is worth a look. Less about technique and more about a methodology for getting used to boxing at full speed/power. Lots of people do good with dutch drills and focus mitts but fall apart when it comes time to spar. He addresses this. Basically a modified peekaboo structure. |

A great course on striking is the one created by Firas Zahabi, "Core Striking Combinations and Tricky Attacks". It's perfect for starting out as it covers the basics of striking. It certainly stands out in that you can see both attacks and defences at the same time, which I much prefer to the pad presentation. |
