Ok, so as farcical as this is, I'll be either watching it for free in a bar somewhere or avoiding the media until I can grab it off a torrent. "Fuck Mayweather. Fuck McGregor, I'm getting this for free" :DDD

Now, as much as I dislike McGregor (and shouted for joy when Diaz choked him out). there is no person I despise more on the planet earth than the likes of dickhead Mayweather (with the exception of Donald Trump, who incidentally is the worst President the world is ever likely to see - I mean, what a dickhead). Apologies, I'm well into my Weston's Vintage Cider - 8.2%.

Nonetheless, McGregor is an unbelievable MMA fighter, still a lot to learn, but man his style and technique is what everyone should be aiming for.
THATSAID! It's a boxing match and Mayweather is pretty damn hot at what he does.

I don't see it going the whole way. I see Mayweather dodging around for 5 rounds until McGregor tires, then moving in to pick him apart in the later mid rounds.
That, or McGregor knocking Mayweather's head clean off in the 1st. If he manages it, then it's either a fix (setting up for a rematch in which Mayweather will win - see where I'm coming from?) or I'm buying everyone that takes part in this thread a beer :D

I agree with most of what you said :D For me boxing has never been nearly as interesting as MMA. Its like yeah sure I can watch a wrestling bout, a karate fight or a boxing fight, I will probably get very bored but its ok. Can have some interesting technical aspects, but its just preparation for the mixed martial arts fight, the REAL fight so to say. Boxing is like soccer but only shooting penalties. Its not the full game (in my humble opinion).

I will probably do same as I always do on big boxing fights. I forward to last 3 minutes, see who wins and how and watch the slowmotion recaps. Usually that is where I think "lol this boxing crap is so corrupt" and turn it off.

ps. Mayweather vs McGregor in an MMA fight, THAT I would pay to watch!

Enjoyed the tour and McGregor ridiculing Mayweather, looked too easy. Yeeeeeeeeah.

Will be interesting to see how McGregor handles the fight and whether he gets frustrated about not being able to hit Mayweather... I can only believe that Mayweather will be on the defence all the time. Could end up being a very boring fight.

TRUE. I'm rooting against Mayweather WAY harder than for McGregor. I'll be at the bar hoping to see Mayweather on his back in the first couple rounds.

I'd love to see a re-match between these two, however I'm getting the feeling that Aldo is past his best now - he doesn't seem quite as crisp as he once was... but I think a rematch would still give him the chance to show his skills and get back what I think was a lucky finish for McGregor.

As for shit talkers, yes on Chael, although his put downs are comedic - I never laugh as much when I listen to him slagging other fighters.

It will be frustrating for McGregor not being able to put Mayweather on his back when he is covering his head and goes into defensive mode. Usually fighters have to lower their hands to protect against takedowns while Mayweather can simply cover up and ride out the storm and start punching back in round 6-12. Im pretty sure that is the game plan against Conor. Mayweather is the kind of fighter who doesn't give a crap about if the fight is exiting or boring as long as he wins and most of all, gets paid. It's not like UFC can sack him for fighting boring... Which kind of sucks because I would love if they could do that lol.
