The UFC announced the cast for the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter. TUF 23: Team Joanna vs. Team Claudia will feature Women’s Strawweights as well as Men’s Light-Heavyweights. The Season will start with 16 Strawweights and 16 Light-Heavyweights who will fight for their spot in the Ultimate Fighter house.
The season premiere will air April 20 at 10pm et on TSN. Champions for each division will be crowned on the TUF 23 Finale on July 8 in Las Vegas. The Finale will also feature the coaches Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Claudia Gadelha doing battle for the Strawweight Title.
The lone Canadian announced as part of the cast is Alyssa “Pumpkin Spice” Krahn. The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native from Complete Fitness and Martial Arts enters the tournament with a 3-1 pro MMA record.
