UFC officials on Sunday added another solid featherweight bout to its June 28 fight card slated for San Antonio, Texas. Ricardo Lamas and Hacran Dias will meet as part of the supporting cast for UFC Fight Night 44, which is headlined by a five-round featherweight bout between Cub Swanson and Jeremy Stephens. Aldo won the bout via unanimous decision. Against Dias, Lamas will be looking to start a new winning streak. He had won four consecutive bouts prior to the loss to the Aldo, defeating Erik Koch, Hatsu Hioki, Cub Swanson, and Matt Grice. If he can get the better of Dias, Lamas isn’t likely to be too far out of returning to title contention. Dias, however, is looking for a bit of redemption himself. At 21-2-1, he is coming off of a unanimous-decision loss of his own to Nik Lentz last spring. Before losing to Lentz, Dias had won nine consecutive bouts, including his UFC debut.
