Last week I watched this documentary on Fedor called "The Baddest Man in the World". His childhood friends explained that there wasn't a difference between Fedor the man and Fedor the fighter.
I think that a fighter's style is tied directly into the type of man they are, how they tackle life's issues. While there are lots of other factors (like their improving skill, old age, their opponent) let's assume we're only talking about their approach to fighting and their fighting style. It comes down to the type warrior they are, and their personal ethics behind it.
So, who's your favorite fighter? What is it about their approach or style that keeps you rooting for them?
Here's my opinion:
The fighter I most respect both for his positive, relaxed attitude and his scrappy style of fighting is Forrest Griffin. When approaching a fight, he's always looking for angles, trying to locate a weakness, to see what the other fighter doesn't want to expose. In a sport where many fighters let instinct take over, Forrest seems to have a good balance between analyzing the fight and giving 110% while he's fighting. I think that gives him an edge over most fighters he enters the octagon with.

Cant help to think about GSP.
I am maybe not his biggest fan, but noone can say that martial arts isnt 100% of his life. He and his team are always thinking hard to come up with a functional gameplan and he is a real warrior in the ring. He has a positive attitude and is polite and try to be a good representative for the sport.
And hes not impressed by your performance lol
Seriously, hes a real martial Artist in my eyes.
But personally I love Rampage for his easygoing, fun style. Then if he is a warrior or a hoodloom lol thats up to the beholder to decide. I like him anyways.

Anderson floats like Muhammad Ali, and always carries himself respectfully. I also respect that he sent a message to Joe Silva in his last fight, because someone of Anderson's talent and status deserves to fight only those who come in to fight and challenge him.
Randy Couture, because he is a great representative for the sport, and is still going strong at 45. He has yet to lose a step, and is someone I've always enjoyed watching.
