Introducing The Tru MMA Show: episode 1 – featuring the misadventures of MMA reporter Aaron Tru
In this premiere of THE TRU MMA SHOW, Aaron Tru takes viewers backstage at Strikeforce, visits BeatDown 7 in North Dakota and takes us inside the World MMA Awards.
Aaron Tru a.k.a. Jew-Pac, is one of MMA’s most noteworthy reporters. We have seen him sacrifice his body and mind for the sake of getting the story. He’s taken leg kicks from Fabricio Werdum, had his testicles bitten by psychotic fighter Greg Gaggenwanker, got knocked out by a midget, smelled the excrement of Tom Lawlor and of course, went to sleep in the arms of Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos.
Now this groundbreaking journalist has his own show entitled the TRU MMA SHOW. In this premiere episode Tru takes viewers backstage at “Strikeforce: Henderson vs. Babalu” in St. Louis, travels to the BeatDown 7 fights in North Dakota and gives us an inside look at the 2010 World MMA Awards where he was nominated for “Reporter of the Year.”

On this episode Tru gets locked in a hotel room witch coach Eddie Bravo and his students as they celebrate 10th Planet style and yes, things get ugly quick. Also, Tuff-N-Uff, Xtreme Couture, ring girls, more. Wild man Aaron Tru is back with the third installment of the Tru MMA Show and this one may just be the best yet. Tru gets to see how 10th Planet Riverside celebrates after a night of big wins at Tuff-N-Uff and coach Eddie Bravo shows Tru how to take his reporting game to a HIGH-er level. Next, Tru spars with a man with one testicle and gets attacked by the uno-baller’s family and friends. It’s an open house at Xtreme Couture where several of the gym’s fighters make cameos including ringleader Randy Couture. Tru then takes us backstage at the recent Tuff-N-Uff show where he talks with several of the fighters and coaches and gets some advice for his upcoming MMA debut against Lee Honish from coach Shawn Tompkins. Next, we get a look inside UFC ring girl Chandella Powell‘s birthday party hosted by Evan Dunham where several fighters and coaches are in attendance including Greg Nelson, Chris Leben, Kenny Florian, Bruce Leroy, Court McGee and others. Last but not least, Tru gets some tips on how to do the Anthony Pettis patented “Showtime Kick” then tries it out himself. You have to watch to see if he is successful.
