So, I downloaded RUF 44-46... They are freeleach so I got the pack to try to boost my ratio, but when I watched them despite the obviously cheaper production value, I really liked the amateur fights, and the somewhat more irreverent commentary, for example some guy was having problems with his cup and they were making jokes about it the whole match and the after fight interview. I watched some of Diamondback, but it didn't grab me quite the same way, seemed more serious. Are there any other promotions I should look out for with the slightly less serious vibe, but still has people going hard even if they aren't the most technically skilled? I've also seen an almost total joke promotion (except the fights were real), but they had bikini contests, jello wrestling, shit like that along with fights. You should definitely check out the first seasons of The Ultimate Fighter if you have not yet done so. |
