That is indeed really sad! He will always be the person that kicked off The Ultimate Fighter with Forest, and UFC, with the fantastic final of the first TUF season, but was also a likeable and fun person in general when he was himself.

To both Stephan Bonnar and also Anthony Jonhnson, Elias Theodorou, and all others who have passed away recently, may you rest in peace, you will be remembered forever by us!

Taking a moment to highlight the remarkable career of Stephan Bonnar, a true MMA icon who left an undeniable impact on the sport.

Remember "The Ultimate Fighter 1 Finale"? Bonnar's memorable clash with Forrest Griffin was more than just a fight; it was a pivotal moment in MMA history. While the victory eluded him that night, his resilience and dedication earned him a UFC contract and the admiration of fans worldwide.

What truly stands out about Bonnar is his versatility. From wrestling to Taekwondo, Brazilian jiu-jitsu to boxing and Muay Thai, he showcased a diverse skill set that few could match.

Bonnar faced a roster of noteworthy opponents, conquering names like Sam Hoger, James Irvin, and Keith Jardine. Memorable battles against Rashad Evans, Jon Jones, and Mark Coleman added layers to his legacy, solidifying his position in the Light Heavyweight division.

Inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame alongside Forrest Griffin, Bonnar's contributions to MMA were rightfully celebrated.

Beyond the UFC, his brief chapter in Bellator against Tito Ortiz demonstrated his enduring spirit.

Stephan Bonnar's impact on MMA will always be remembered, inspiring fighters and fans alike.
