FANTASTIC event. All around, StrikeForce has had a great 2009.

Very short... I dont understand why they dont put some of the prelims on like UFC do, when the fights are over that quick. I would really have wanted to see that Hieron-fight. Best thing about the event is to see how good Mousasi is. That he so calm took such a good fighter as Babalu out. Mousasi has such a bright future, and he could really beat alot of the UFC-fighters too...

Yeah, I have to agree. The event was really good and all the fights were entertaining. The two main fights were potential fights of the year, so you do feel a bit short-changed after watching the event that they ended so quickly, but hey, that's MMA...

I agree that it would have been good if they'd shown some more prelims, but then it's not a PPV and you can't complain you're not getting value for money, so they didn't have such a concern. Would have loved the Heiron/Taylor fight though.

I'm a little bias, but I disagree with a lot of people who feel this was a total assbeating of Gina.

Gina had some good defense and technique, especially submission defense and also landing on top when Cyborg was attemting throws. She looked a little out of it and, dare I say it, a little scared before the fight got started. If the sweep-attempt after the kimura-attempt had been successful I believe Carano may have gone into the second round with a bit of momentum..... but this is just me ranting. I don't want to take anything away from Cyborg who fought like a monster, like always.. What seemed to be the entire Cyborg-camp coming to warmly congratulate Gina with a great fight was a little.... touching... hehe .

Mousasi. Wow.... how relaxed was he. Wow.

Great show all in all... last time I heard a crowd roar like that (during the Gina/Cyborg fight) was when Couture knocked down Timmeh. Could've used some undercard-fights with all the extra time.

I looked at her eyes and the pupils where as large as her whole eyes, a sign of chock/fear often and I also thought, "dam shes scared". But then so would I be if I had to fight Cyborg... I think Gina did good. Cyborg was simply at her absolute best.
