They took two samples at the same time. IMHO (and all journalist opinions), that counts as a single test because all they did was essentially have him pee in a cup and pour half into another container. All this means is that they re-tested to verify the banned substance. If they had him return for another test, I would argue that would be a separate test. Same for Couture.

Regardless, you have a point. How can anyone defend failing so many times? Once might be a fluke. False-positives do happen, but blaming it on supplements is no longer the valid argument it once was. There are plenty of companies that will test your poppers at reasonable cost.

It's just....sad.
