Dear people of earth, Since the beginning of time (aka internet) it has been common knowledge that you cant use the symbol ' in a filename that will be processed by Unix based operating systems. This is why you will never ever find a proper scene release with a name that contains ' ever, only P2P releasers have in some cases used this symbol due to their inexperience with scene releases, Unix environments and general ignorance. The symbol ' is used for code and is prohibited on most systems for filename purposes as it can be used to hack websites or in other ways inject code into systems. That is why we as torrent people always try to avoid using ' at all costs. I understand O'Malley spells his name that way, with the ' but it has to be omitted to O.Malley or OMalley in a torrent filename or it will create issues for seedboxes on Linux systems and similar. Example: Scene release: UFC.316.Dvalishvili.vs.O.Malley.2.Early.Prelims.1080p.WEB.h264-VERUM P2P release: UFC.316.PPV.Dvalishvili.vs.O'Malley.2.1080p.HDTV.H264-Group After passing through a Linux based seedbox or server it becomes: UFC.316.PPV.Dvalishvili.vs.O.and.#39;Malley.2.1080p.HDTV.H264-Group As you can see VERUM and all other proper scene groups omit the ' always for this specific reason. Thank you for your time and attention. |
