Hello guys,

does anyone have information about how many instructionals are going to be released by Danaher in Go Further Faster Series? Also any clue about the themes that each one will have?

I heard the fundamentals series will have 8 volumes.

Here is the description I found on the youtube video introducing the series :

Jiu Jitsu Fundamentals is not just a certain set of moves but also the underlying movements
and concepts required to perform all the basic moves, together.

John Danaher's method separates the BJJ Fundamentals into 3 areas which include Standing Position, Ground Position Bottom, and Ground Position Top.

Each of these areas have 5 basic skill within.

Standing Position is composed of Stance, Motion, Grip, Kazushi, and Transitioning to the Ground.

The 5 Fundamental skills of Ground Position Bottom are Pin Escapes, Guard Retention, Guard Sweeps, Half Guard Sweeps, and Turtle Escapes.

The 5 Fundamental skills are Opening a Closed Guard, Passing Open Guard, Passing Half Guard,
Pin Maintenance and Transitioning, and Turtle Breakdowns.

This means Jiu Jitsu is comprised of 15 fundamental positioning skills.

BJJ Fundamentals are THE MOST IMPORTANT to build in the sport of Jiu Jitsu. It's where people struggle the most.

I'm going through the half guard instructional now. Love how he breaks things down so systematically. Trying to work on it in class as much as possible too. Want to get the rest of them.

I heard it's going to be 7.

So far:
Escapes
Guard Retention
Half Guard
Closed Guard

Upcoming:
Guard Passing (Opening a Closed Guard, Passing Open Guard, Passing Half Guard)
Top Position (Pin Maintenance and Transitioning, and Turtle Breakdowns)
Standing (Stance, Motion, Grip, Kazushi, and Transitioning to the Ground)

But I guess maybe one of those will be split into two?
