Alright guys,

Looking for any advice anyone has on buying a BJJ Gi. I have been no Gi since I started about 6 months ago, but want to get into it as another angle of the sport. The problem I have is that I'm 6'4 and weight 300lbs.

Anyone know of any UK suppliers, or international suppliers who will ship that do them in a bigger size? Some of the guys think a Judo Gi might be easier to find in a bigger size.

Any help or advice is appreciated though!

Most in A5 should work for you. Maybe not Lucky or Keiko or... hmm. who else runs small?

I'm about 6'4" 260 now, but was about your size a couple of years ago and did fine with most of the A5s I've used. I guess it depends on where the 300 lbs is, though, like always.

As to UK suppliers, I'm afraid I can't help much except to tell you that I have a Gracie Barra A5 that would be big enough for you, probably the biggest A5 I have, and there are definitely Gracie Barra schools around there. They're not the best gis around, and you might want to pull all the GB patches off, but it's an option.
