Liking the new theme, very modern looking and in my opinion, very attractive as well. An improvement all around, not that I didn't like the old site, but I must say, I think the new look is an improvement! Nice work!

Thx Poincy :)

Added a Theme selector in the right column now so you can choose as you wish.

Great work! Like it very much.

Couple of comments, which are not criticisms of course - just hopefully will help (I'm a web designer so impossible not to comment):
- [Freeleech] markings on homepage list of torrents should be changed to green rather than orange so they stand out from torrent titles, very useful
- Sortable column headers on the homepage list of torrents are currently orange links on an orange background

Love it!

Excellent point!

I see the links as white on orange bg,

if you still see them as orange, what browser are you using in case thats the reason?

Hey, guys. Love the new theme as well. Not normally a fan of squishing content into a central column with loads of empty space either side, but I do like the new layout. Really like the text colours popping out more now - the site is much kinder on the eyes.

One thing (for me), though, is that it seems to really highlight the duplicated info in the Recent Uploads and Latest Torrents sections. I know nothing has changed there, but for some reason this jumps out at me more now.

And I see:
Type, DL, NFO, and Health in white.
Name, Comments, S, and L in orange on a dull orange background. Can still read them clearly, but not as nice as the white.

Using Opera 10.70 (3468)

Glad comments are helpful, will try to think of some more as I look around the site.

Firefox 3.6.12 or whatever latest version is (non-beta).
Can't understand how yours could be white, firstly I tried clicking one to see if it was because there was a different colour for visited/regular links, but they stayed orange, and then I checked the CSS which shows clearly they are being kept as orange due to the global link colours, no new colours are being set for the specific part of the site:
Code:
a:link, a:visited, a:active {
  color:#FF9900;
}

The white ones are text, they are not links. The links are orange, they are the sortable columns (can click on them to change order).

Guessing the NEW new wide theme (MMAW) is very fresh, but if you haven't seen it Ob give it a go, it's an even greater improvement, fantastic work everyone who's helping with these improvements!

Thanks Obs for your comments :)

As lenoz said try the NEW, new NB-MMAW wider theme that I just added. Its more suitable for larger screens/resolutions too.

The Recent Uploads (based on old shoutbox) refreshes automatically every 5 minutes so you dont have to refresh homepage to see new uploads, its quite handy sometimes.
And the Latest Torrents is the original home page last torrents table, its default and only change I made to it was to show more then 10 torrents.
Question would be, wich one should I remove, and or should I do something else instead of whats there... etc. All ideas are always welcome. Remember its our site guys ;)

Glad it looks good in opera too. It has been tested in all normal browsers and should work well everywhere.

Indeed, the wide theme is another great improvement (for me). Cheers, guys.

Also, I love the moving orange "light" under the menu buttons. Very slick and stylish.

Yeah, like I said, I knew those sections weren't new and I knew the difference, but now it just seems more prominent that they contain the exact same data for 90+% of the time unless you leave the website open for a while. If you could make the Latest Torrents section refresh then that would be perfect, but I guess that's not possible and so that's why the Recent Uploads section exists in the first place ;-)

Also, the Recent Uploads bit points out who the uploader was, which is good for those kind souls, so you'd need to factor that into the Latest Torrents section anyway.

Might be more work than it's worth! Hehe.

Everything is possible, but yeah it is off course more work. As a matter of fact I made an auto refresh latest torrents block and its not that hard, only problem was that the links inside opened the torrent details inside the block. To fix that I started making a second torrentable function with _parent but I never got it to work as I wanted so in the end I abandoned the project. I might take it up again now that you mentioned but I have to find time :)

I have some ideas though and will work with it and see how it will look.

Thx again for your ideas, and by the way when I said our before, I hope you understood i mean you guys, the members ;) and us the admins off course.
