First off, very happy with this tracker, has so much material I have been chasing.

I seem to be having some issues connecting with 'peers' and sometimes 'seeds'. I use QBittorrent on a NAS (with a proxy), generally have had no issues in the past. However I have downloaded a huge amount of material (freeleech) which people are actively leeching and seeking, however cannot seem to connect to many, if any of the peers. I have ~40 torrents seeding, however little if any seeding activity.

I notice peers will connect for a split second and then drop. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the client. I use Pfsense firewall and ports open. Is it a problem with the client?

Any help would be appreciated as at this rate I won't be able to get a positive ratio at all.

Hi,

Try without the proxy and see how it works. If it works better, then the proxy is the culprit. If not, well then we go from there.
