I found this somewhere, i'm a registered user, Have qBitorrent, RSS feed refreshes, gets the torrrents but I can't download them. Not manully not automatically with RSS filters.
If anyone has done that and knows how to get it going, what's the procedure?
Thanks in advance

It's saturday morning and I'm trying out different solutions. Looks like a very tricky problem. I've tried copying my 2 cookies from chrome to qbittorrent, inserting the RSS link with userid and my personal password. Right now I'm trying to insert the rss link with passkey from the account page. I think it's just a problem with authentication, because I can open RSS pages and take one of the links from there, it opens. If I use incognito window, then it obviously asks me to log in. I'm just missing one little thing somewhere in the process.

After doing some research I see that it should be as easy as entering your user ID (a number) and pass (a longer hash) in qbit config.

To get your cookie information make sure you are logged in to the TRACKER and not just the forum of course and get your UID and PASS values.

In Firefox right click anywhere on the tracker and choose "Inspect Element".

Then go to the "Storage" tab and look for uid and pass in the list.

Take the values and copy paste them to qbittorrent.

From the FAQ:

https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorr ... o_use_them

Once you have the appropriate information, right click on the RSS feed in qBittorrent and select "Manage cookies". Then define the same key/values found in your Web browser cookies.

For example:

Key Value
uid 1234

pass asdjh12378912y3lk

In the end I think the problem ended up being qBittorrent. uTorrent worked! Few years ago uTorrent ended up becoming a cancerous program so I had moved on to qBittorrent but I was never a part of private tracker so never used a RSS link WITH authentication.

Well I just exhausted all the different ways of authentication in qBittorrent so tried uTorrent and got it working in 1 try.
https://mma-torrents.com/rssdl.php:COOK ... pass=xxxxx
Just took that template, in chrome, clicked on the lock icon, leftmost part of the url bar. Went to cookies, there were 6 of them from mma-torrent, 3 related to forum, 1 for customizing the design and 2 were UID and PASS. Copied the content values and voila.

Now the only thing I can say:
uTorrent reads this feed but qBittorrent doesn't. In qBittorent if I add ? symbol right after PHP and before colon, then the feed is read but I guess it changes things enough so then it's not able to authenticate. If I just have the RSS link without authentication parameters then both clients can read the feed.
I don't know maybe qBittorent is just shit in this specific scenario. It's good in general though, no ads, no nonsense, proper torrenting program.

:-bd Good to hear you managed to get it to work!

I am not sure if the auto filters work the exact same way in older versions, but the utorrent version 2.2.1 is fully functional and has no advertisement.

http://www.oldversion.com/windows/utorrent-2-2-1-2

You can have both versions installed at same time, just change what exe file you start utorrent with if you would like to test it out.

Thank you for posting your results, I am sure it will help other users out in the future! :)

Ah no, it wasn't the ads that drove me away. You could and you still can disable the ads from within uTorrent. The ads don't bother me, it's not like I'm staring at my download speeds anc completion percentage. The window is minimized to tray most of the time. If you remember there was crypto-currency mining scandal with uTorrent where they were using people's CPUs to calculate the hash-codes or whatever. Like I said, they were making the program more and more cancerous. I haven't kept up with the torrent programs world so I'm not aware if they sorted their program out but I'll only have to use it once a week for UFC events, so it's all right.

TRON foundation, the company behind TRX (cryptocurrency company) recently bought uTorrent. And the founder Justin Sun created a new crypto coin called BTT (Bittorrent) not long ago that is slowly gaining some value. I have a few BTT's myself...

I like Justin Sun and I think he will do great things with Bittorrent and uTorrent. Im definitely convinced there will be no background mining without the users consent. TRON have enough money already so it's more about usability now.

Ah that's wonderful, a bit of positive news with future potential, good to hear that. Did anything materialize out of the new deal? I didn't see anything self-evidently new about uTorrent.
