np's Mr Muzz, just followed you on twitter btw I'm EpicBeerMan.

Yeah a private network would be better I guess. I never knew Austnet frowned upon torrent channels. Dragen is one of the few decent Austnet admins too so it must be a legit server policy. The rest are mostly cunts who will ban people from the main channels for a week for harmlessly stirring the pot, while their mates whom threaten to kill and rape chicks get kick/banned for an hour. I'd given up on it aside for the site/spoiler channel.

Thanks for the heads up.

We have moved to a better network for now. Until we have our own server we will be at the p2p-network servers.

Please read here to get the new details:

http://mma-torrents.com/irc.php

For you that have mirc open, just paste this in a new serverwindow

/server irc.p2p-network.net -j #mma-torrents

Remember that if you dont have mirc and still would like to join the chat you can use our webirc chat:

No idea, I went on there a few weeks ago for the scene releases site chat, channel was rather dead quiet so didn't stay in there very long.

Didn't get in any arguments, troll or cause any mischief. My guess would be someone has used my shell host for malicious purposes/flooding on the network and gotten all the IP's banned. That's the problem when you know of a good cheap host, it takes one asshole who has been banned to pick a random cheap host to get an accounts for 1 month to cause trouble from and instead of ident@vhost being banned the server admins will ban entire hosts.

You think they could remove the block by any chance if you contacted them?

Highly unlikely. Seeing it's a very recent g-line and that they've blocked the entire host instead of just users idents/shell logins would indicate someone's been a very naughty boy. Besides they'd probably think I was the one who's been banned and am trying to stooge em into unbanning the shell host so I can flood or something again. That's what I'd think anyway, if I was admin I certainly wouldn't remove a g-line for a $2 a month shell at the request of a random stranger via email. Same shit happened with the Torrent Leech private network with this host, they wouldn't remove and I've been a member there 4 years + with 1TB up.

Shame you didn't pick link-net :P
The scenesource channel on there is a much more active/populated release blog chan, few mma fans in there too. But if it's too much bother to change again I'll just wait till you set up a private irc.
