Hi, I'm new to the site and forum. Apologies if this has already been answered but I searched and couldn't find anything.

I'm trying my first download (started with a freeleach file) and the download isn't starting.

I'm using Ubuntu for my OS and Transmission as my torrent client.
In the "Trackers" section of the client, it says
"Got a list of 13 peers 18 minutes ago
Asking for more peers in 11 minutes
Tracker had 10 seeders and 1 leechers 18 minutes ago"

Is there anything additional I need to do to get the torrent to start? Should I use a different client?

Yes, you could try rtorrent if you are on Linux. It might work better.

Thank you! I tried a couple others and qBittorrent ended up working well, if other Ubuntu users are trying.

qBittorrent is my favorite on Linux as well.
